Join us at Trinity Wharf on May 17th and 18th for the 2019 Craigs Investment Partners and Cooney Lees Morgan Regional Business Women’s Conference, where we celebrate and champion women in business.
This year our theme: Forging your own path is about breaking the mould. The focus is on showcasing speakers whose pathway to success has involved bucking trends and defying stereotypes.
You’ll hear from inspirational speakers who will challenge, inspire and entertain. There will also be time to connect with friends new and old, plenty of networking opportunities, delicious food and time out in the beautiful surroundings at Trinity Wharf.
Success takes a different form for every one of us and it makes sense that following someone else’s path won’t necessarily lead to your version of success. To make our dreams and aspirations possible we sometimes have to make uncomfortable choices and take risks.
There are preconceived ideas about the ‘right’ way to do many things in life, be it what to study, whether you marry, to the type of job you should be doing. Living without challenging such ‘rules’ can be limiting in itself.
Forging your own path to recognise your vision can require challenging conventions, having the confidence to venture where others have not yet gone.
Our conference speakers have been chosen as trail blazing individuals who have forged their own path in their chosen careers, challenged the status quo and taken risks in order to achieve the success they have today.
They’ll be sharing how they have had to think and act “outside the box” and challenge mind-sets to get where they are today. Their diverse experiences will inspire and give you courage to explore opportunities outside your comfort zone and challenge some of the boundaries you perceive for yourself.
The conference will also be an opportunity to inspire and support each other, have some fun, meet and make new friends, rekindle connections with old ones and to have an enjoyable and inspirational evening and day out.
The conference opens at 6:30pm on Friday evening with dinner and speakers followed by a full day’s programme of speakers on Saturday, finishing around 5pm.
The event will be MC’d by Sky Sports Broadcaster, Rikki Swannell
