Every day 60 New Zealanders will hear the words “I am sorry you have cancer.”
Friday 30 August is Daffodil Day, the Cancer Society’s largest fundraising event. Every dollar raised stays in the region and goes a long way by providing free support services for people in our community affected by cancer and their whānau. It also funds life-saving research and helps the Cancer Society deliver health promotion initiatives.
To build cancer awareness this month we have included ten tips from the Cancer Society to help you reduce your cancer risk. They are:
